liability insurance through NFPW, vote and more.
Please remember that the DPA Members’ Area is for use by DPA members
only.
DPA MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
The DPA Membership Directory contains contact information for all of your
DPA colleagues.
Please check your entry from time-to-time to be sure that we have your
latest information. To make a change to your directory entry, please use any
of the “Update” links to access the change-of-information form. We will make
every effort to keep the directory up to date. If you find any errors,
please notify us immediately.
Members are reminded that this membership directory is private and cannot be
sold or used for any commercial purposes. Thank you for respecting this rule
and the privacy of all DPA members.

INSURANCE
If you are a member of NFPW, two types of insurance are
available for you:

Discounted libel insurance
Feel more secure with libel insurance available at a
discounted rate through NFPW. The plan covers legal defense costs, damages
and protection from lawsuits. It’s the ideal cost-effective solution for
freelancers and those writing independently.

Liability insurance for affiliates
Our DPA affiliate is automatically protected from costly lawsuits with
liability insurance provided to all affiliates by NFPW. No need to apply. As
an NFPW affiliate, we’re already covered. This insurance would cover our
affiliate if we were sued by anyone claiming injuries received at an
affiliate meeting due to the affiliate’s negligence.
Each affiliate pays a small per-member charge for the coverage. Each year in
January NFPW tabulates the total number of members, then divides the cost of
the policy by the number of members. The cost for each affiliate member
(about $1.75 per member) is then subtracted before returning state dues to
the affiliates.
